Glynn County Town Halls This Week: Your Voice Matters in Our Future Growth

Glynn County is growing—fast. New families are arriving, businesses are planting roots, and development is knocking from every direction. Growth isn’t a surprise, and it isn’t inherently bad. But how we shape that growth will determine the character, livability, and long-term health of the Golden Isles for decades to come.

Right now, the County is rewriting major portions of the zoning ordinance and subdivision regulations—an overhaul that will guide how the community develops well into the future. These upcoming Town Hall meetings are our chance to learn what’s being proposed, ask questions, and speak up before decisions are finalized.

If we want smart growth that respects the character of our community, welcomes new families and businesses in a thoughtful way, and protects quality of life for the people who already live here, then showing up matters. These meetings will help set the precedent for development in Glynn County going forward.

Smart, successful growth isn’t automatic. It’s built through engaged citizens who participate.
