🕯️ A Fond Farewell to Frederica House

After 45 years of memories, milestones, and meals shared under its signature mossy oaks, Frederica House has closed its doors for the final time. Since 1980, it’s been more than just a restaurant—it’s been a gathering place, a proposal spot, a family tradition, and a thread in the fabric of St. Simons Island life.

From birthday dinners to wedding parties, first dates to last toasts, generations have passed through its doors and left with full hearts (and likely full plates). As owners Tom, Steve, and Cameron said in their goodbye: “There are literally whole families that have been created after people met at Frederica House.”

To the staff who made it feel like home and the community who kept coming back—you helped build something truly special. We’ll miss the glow of those porch lights on Frederica Road, but the memories will live on.

💛 Thank you, Frederica House, for 45 unforgettable years.
