🎯 Ky’leon Bacon Breaks Records & Makes History

Let’s kick things off with a massive round of applause for Glynn Academy senior Ky’leon Bacon, who just hurled his way into the record books! 🏆💥

Last week, Ky’leon launched the discus 153 feet and 1 inch to snag the state title — Glynn’s first individual gold in 48 years, dating back to Olympian Mel Lettany in 1977. That’s nearly half a century of waiting for a moment like this... and Ky’leon delivered in style.

After finishing 11th last year, he set a personal goal to break 150 feet and focused relentlessly on technique, nerves, and consistency. The result? A calm, confident, record-shattering performance — and a personal record to match.

But Ky’leon’s legacy isn’t just about distance. It’s about grit, growth, and the joy of rising to meet the moment. He’s not just a champion discus thrower — he’s a two-time region champ, a football nose guard, a shot-put standout, and now: a future Georgia State Panther.

Congrats, Ky’leon. Brunswick is cheering loud and proud. 💪
