Metro Diner Opens New Location in Brunswick

Metro Diner has opened a new restaurant in Brunswick at 10515 Canal Crossing, adding another option to the area’s growing casual dining landscape. The 3,300-square-foot space seats 116 and is operated by managing partner Stephen Blackburn, a Savannah native with more than 30 years in the restaurant industry.

The chain is known for its expansive menu and hearty, classic American dishes. Breakfast is served all day alongside sandwiches, burgers, and comfort-food staples. Popular items include the Iron City Meatloaf and the Fried Chicken & Waffle. Many local residents may already be familiar with the brand from its long-running Florida locations—we’ve certainly enjoyed visiting a few ourselves over the years.

Blackburn, a member of the Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, has expressed interest in supporting local initiatives, including Habitat for Humanity. The diner also offers 10% off for uniformed first responders and active or retired military members.
