There’s a lot happening around the Golden Isles this week — from trivia nights and wine tastings to live music, film screenings, and even a Revolutionary War debate. We’ve rounded up some of the best things going on across Brunswick, St. Simons, Jekyll, and beyond. And for a little local real estate curiosity, we also took a quick look at what about $430K buys in three very different parts of Glynn County. Same price… wildly different lifestyles.

What $430K Buys in the Golden Isles
Home prices across Glynn County vary wildly depending on where you land. This week we looked at three homes all hovering around $430K — one in North Brunswick, one in the historic downtown district, and one on St. Simons Island.
Same price. Completely different lifestyle.
North Brunswick – Space, Yard & A Pool!
🕰️ Built 2000
🎯 North Brunswick
3 bed • 2 bath • 2,797 sq ft • 0.37 acres
If square footage is the priority, North Brunswick wins this round easily. This nearly 2,800 sq ft home features hardwood floors, a gourmet kitchen with quartz counters and gas cooktop, and a Florida room overlooking the backyard.
Outside you’ll find a private Gunite swimming pool, mature landscaping, and upgrades like a metal roof and whole-house Generac generator.

🎯 SSI
2 bed • 2 bath • 848 sq ft
Island math is real. This charming cottage trades square footage for location — sitting in a prime mid-island spot near Sea Island with walkable access to restaurants, bike trails, and shopping.
The home comes fully furnished and currently operates as a successful Airbnb, making it appealing for buyers interested in short-term rental income.
